7 Card Stud Bets
The basic betting amounts are determined by the game bet limits specified (see Bet Limits). The lower limit is the basic bet, used to determine the ante, betting Third Street and Fourth Street. After the fifth card is displayed the basic bet is the upper limit.
The ante is set as one tenth of the basic bet (lower betting limit). The first bet begins with the player having the lowest card displayed. The player must bet one fifth of the basic
bet. Betting continues around the table in a clockwise direction. Players can either call, raise or fold. The first raiser may raise the bet to the lower betting limit. Subsequent raises are in amounts equal to the basic bet.
In all other rounds betting begins with the strongest displayed hand. The player may check or bet the lower betting limit. When a pair is showing or after the fifth card is dealt, bets and raises are equal to the upper betting limit.
