Caribbean Stud Hand Rankings: Low to High
High Card
This is when no two cards in your hand are the same. The value of this hand is
the value of the highest card.
One Pair
This hand is one in which two cards are the same rank, regardless of their suit.
Example – K, K, J, 10, 4
Two pair
This is a hand with two separate single pairs, regardless of their suit. Example
– K, K, J, J, 4
Three of a Kind
This is a hand with three cards of the same rank, regardless of their suit.
Example – K, K, K, J, 4
Straight
This is a hand with any five cards in sequence. Example – K, Q, J, 10, 9
Flush
This is a hand with five cards of the same suit, but not in consecutive order.
Example – K, 10, 5, 4, J (all of spades)
Full House
This is a hand containing both three of a kind and a pair. Example – K, K, J,
J, J
Straight Flush
This is a hand that is both in consecutive order and of the same suit. Example K,
Q, J, 10, 9 (all of spades)
Royal Flush
This is a hand where the cards are in sequence, conist of the same suit, and are
10 through Ace. Example – A, K, Q, J, 10 (all of spades)
